Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved the appointment of members into the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) and the Governing Council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced in official letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.

According to the letter, Comrade Adeniyi Afeez Babatunde has been appointed as the new Chairman of OYSIEC.

Other members appointed to the commission include Olatunde Akintunde Theophilus, Mrs. Adebayo Mariam Adepeju, Mr. Olanrewaju Emmanuel, Chief Kunmi Agboola, Mr. Remi Ayoade, Mr. Sunday Falana, and Mr. Babatunde Ige.

For the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Governing Council, the appointees are Prof. Banji Oyeyinka Oyelaran [Chairman], Mr. Olatunde Gabriel Oyelade – Member;Dr. Bello Adebayo Taiwo – Member; Mrs. Isola Agnes Bolanle – Member; Dr. Akintunde Kehinde Ayinde – Member; Prof. Olawale Adebayo Olakulehin – Membeer, and Prof. Adenike Olugbenga-Bello – Member.

Governor Makinde, while congratulating the new appointees, charged them to approach their responsibilities with dedication, professionalism, and unwavering loyalty to the state.

The appointments, the governor noted, reflect his administration’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and enhancing the delivery of quality healthcare through capable governance.
