Tolu Arokodare has stated that his experience in the Premier League has been markedly different, as reported by ETIMES247.
Arokodare transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers from KRC Genk, a team in the Belgian Pro League, on the deadline day.
The Nigerian international made his first appearance for Wolves in a 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United at St James’ Park just a few days later.
The robust striker faced challenges against Dan Burn during that match.
Arokodare also encountered Everton’s James Tarkowski in a Carabao Cup match on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old admitted that his debut felt akin to a wrestling match.
“In the first game, it was like WWE. I began to think, ‘Alright, this is how it is here. You literally have to punch someone in the face!’ I am learning to adapt to that,” he shared with Sky Sports.
